Replacement Engine Core Administrator
The United States Environmental Protection Agency emission standards for nonroad engines requires diesel engine distributors to collect and report the engine core for all replacement labeled engines sold. The primary responsibility of this position is to facilitate the tracking of these sales and core returns in a timely manner and complete all necessary EPA documentation. This is also an entry level opportunity for Replacement Engine Order Fulfillment Coordinator as it provides the necessary technical background for correct application and compliance.
Responsibilities:
All core tracking responsibility for replacement label engines shipped from Superior Diesel and Bell Power Systems:
o All Yanmar replacement-label engines (reman and replacement label)
o John Deere replacement-label engines
Primary Activities:
Core Tracking and Processing
· Detail sale per current core tracking processes
· Fill out and file replacement engine questionnaire
· Obtain relevant core information, (serial number, description)
· Entry of sales details into SDI/BPS core tracking database
· Assist with reconciliation of core tracking reports for Deere and Yanmar
· Work with customers to expedite return of outstanding cores
· Coordinate pickup shipping for core returns
· Assist with balance of virtual core inventory
· Work with accounting to assure core credits are properly received and reimbursed.
· Year-end reporting to Deere and Yanmar meeting their requirements and EPA’s assuring Superior Diesel’s ability to maintain our replacement engine sales program.
Secondary Activities:
Order Entry
· Enter orders into the Bell ERP system
· Check availability of required engines and parts
· Confirm available production slots
· Confirm lead times to customers.
· Provide delivery status updates to customers
· Confirm price per current price lists set by Sales Manager
Miscellaneous Activity
· Review and provide recommendations for proper replacement engine inventory levels.
· Oversee finished goods and core inventory for customer engine program
· Special projects as requested Sales Manager or Replacement Engine Product Manager.
