Buyer I

Superior Diesel is a leading Value-Added Distributor of John Deere and Yanmar diesel engines. Our diesel engine applications include generators, water pumps, OEM, marine, railway maintenance, and forestry. Our skilled engineers custom design products to fit specific application needs and our production team is experienced and well versed in application and assembly. We are looking to add a Buyer to our experienced and professional team.

Location: Rhinelander, WI

Job Description:

• The Buyer will negotiate with vendors for the purchase of all materials, supplies, equipment, and services used by the company. This employee relies on previous purchasing experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Working under general supervision, this position requires a certain degree of creativity and latitude. This is a hybrid position approximately 3 days/per week in office.
• Requirements: At least two years of purchasing experience required. At least an Associate’s Degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.

Senior Buyer

Location: Rhinelander, WI

Job Description:

• The Senior Buyer will negotiate with vendors for the purchase of all materials, supplies, equipment, and services used by the company. This employee relies on prior purchasing experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Working under limited supervision, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is required to successfully perform a variety of complex tasks. This is a hybrid position approximately 3 days/per week in office.
• Requirements: At least 5 years of purchasing experience required, at least two of which were spent occupying a Senior Buyer position. At least an Associate’s Degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
